Recently, I renewed my passport. What a hassle it turned out to be…
I thought I would use the ‘Check & Send’ option from the Post Office (£7 fee), to speed up the process… what a mistake!!
If you ever want to renew your passport, do it about a year before it expires ‘cos that’s how long it takes those mofoes.

Anyway, I received my (biometric) passport last week – just in time for my trip to the land of the Thai. Flying out tomorrow (Mon 19), stopping off at Colombo, Sri Lanka for a day and then pon route to Bangkok. Should be able to see a bit more than last time I went to see Daniel son, (my mate who goes there to train for thai boxing, from time to time), as I’m going for 3 weeks. James from my Management Development Programme course will be joining me on this random expedition.
I shall be reporting back very soon, stay tuned…

Have a great trip, but plan it well first. take every new opportunity that presents itself And try to meet as many people as you can, you will learn something useful or amusing from each of them, It will your trip far more memorable. It’s a nice gesture to take gifts like colored pencils, children’s note & coloring books as schools in poorer countries cannot afford to provide items. perhaps a box band aids & stuff like cold or flu relief and paracetamol tablets would be really welcomed by the teacher or parent. don’t forget water purifier tablets for yourself & imodium & sunscreen also an insect repellent & antihistamine tablets, in case of allergies. Lastly, my advice is to eat everything cooked, and drink everything which has come out of a sealed bottle or can, or is alcoholic. Cheers, enjoy yourself, & take loads of pix
thanks jackie but i failed in watching what i ate or drank, and now i have some crazy desease.
